Get Your Hot Beef Sundae!
New, delicious dish debuts at Cargill Building's Beef Center.

It's comfort food at its finest! And you'll find it at February's New York Farm Show.

New York Beef Industry Council and the state Beef Producers Association will dish up a generously filled bowl of hand-mashed buttery potatoes surrounded by slow-roasted fork-tender roast beef. Then they'll top it with savory beef gravy, sprinkle on Cheddar cheese and finish it with a ripe, red cherry tomato.

That's what a hot beef sundae is. And it's sure to satisfy the heartiest appetite.

"We are always looking for new ways to promote beef," says Carol Gillis, executive director of New York Beef Industry Council (NYBIC). "The hot beef sundae is a new twist to an old favorite.

This beef 'sundae' is an appetizing new dish that will debut at the New York Farm Show. Don't miss your chance to enjoy this new taste treet!

"Everyone loves hot beef and mashed potatoes," she adds. "And we've made them portable. We know they're going to be very popular at the New York Farm Show!"

You'll find them in the Beef Center of the Cargill exhibit building during the show. Profits from the sales will benefit the junior program of the NYBPA, which coordinates shows, competitions and scholarships for youth involved in beef projects across New York.
